I would highly recommend you to visit Nepal market which is about 1 hour journey from heart of Darjeeling.You can get a cab preferably big one for your visit.The surrounding area during the journey itself is mind blowing, what more exciting is the market is damn cheap for imported goods.You will get commodities at half the price what you use to get in India.From cosmetics,perfumes,jackets,electronic items to shoes to exotic chocolates everything is available there.
